I am back!

Fuck, it was weird to be away again so soon.

I will do my travel posts once I've wrangled all these photos. The good(?) thing about my LR no longer working is that I no longer need to worry about my Windows Surface tablet. The early ones were notorious for dying within a year. That one lasted 10x longer than most of that year/model. It still works, but I no longer have a use for it so I have less devices I need to use in general. I am just a little annoyed that I just carried it for days for no reason. the thing is surprisingly heavy. The bad part is everything else.

Anyway, I think I know where the Santa Clones are, so I need to run out tonight and check. But for now, time to tackle my massive 'do as soon as back in Portland' list.

And I've decided to go back and shoot again another night, for two reasons:
1) It's a really cool location. I think I can do some unique shots. Also, this is another crappy cell photo but, does it look a bit like a face?



Like, maaaaybe there is a really interesting shot there.

2) It was a zoo. The clones went up about a week later than usual, and I think that's part of why it was so crowded. Some people were lovely. I chatted with a few. Some were... shits. Some guys showed up and their plan for the evening was to smoke the devil's lettuce while gazing at the santas. It was at that point that I was like 'Imma head out'

I decided I could do home and drink a beer and eat chocolate and not be there. So, I have a Backwoods Brewing Pecan Pie Porter. I'll be back another day.
