Continuing my Late To The Party trend

I wrote Sentinel fic for Fandom Stockings. Not a Sentinel AU, actual Sentinel fic. My first one, too!

That's the fic I did a bit of a canon review for over the holidays. I was in Sentinel fandom for years before I ever saw an episode. So it was good to be reminded of things like that fact that canon!Blair is an adrenaline junky and what their banter is like.

I will be writing a second Sentinel fic. It's in draft form. I need to find out from my giftee is they are fine with a NSFW sequel or if I should make it it's own separate thing. And, also I am in the middle of other projects right now. I am currently writing a long fic for a different old fandom. My Ao3 page is going to look very retro soon.

I used to be very, very into Sentinel and I am glad to finally have a fic done. I will be posting about my canon review soon because wow, I have things I want to babble about. Man, the camera work on that show was a hot mess! But, um, I will save my cold takes for a separate post.

Oh, gods, Blair was SUCH an adrenaline junky! Not nearly the woobie that he's been written in so many fics. And that's a lovely vignette! Cascades are full of fun surprises like that.

Sentinel was one of those shows you kind of watched so that the fanfic and fandom would make sense. Though I did enjoy it immensely when I watched it.

Thanks! I lived in an area where there was a gap in broadcasting certain networks and there was no way to get UPN or those other stations even with cable.

Some of the show is better than I remember, but some of it is just "...what?"
