My computer is having trouble with a pending Windows update. Without it, my version of Win10 will no longer be supported. I've been trying to troubleshoot this for days, I even did a re-install of my OS.
The wireless card and the keyboard no longer work. I've been working around those problems for months.
It might be time to give up on this laptop.
I just hate that laptops don't last longer and that I can only repair so much. And also the cost.
[edit] Apparently, I skipped the crucial 'whinge online' part of computer troubleshooting and that's why nothing worked. Just after I posted this I tried the update once more and it finally worked! So, I am just back to using this computer with it's jury rigged fixits, but hey at least it's not a pile of e-waste.
