Are close ups of lavender terrifying?

Trying to make myself post to that closed group of pro photogs is terrifying. The question is, are my lavender close ups also terrifying? I am honestly worried they look too much like egg sacs and shouldn't post them. But, maybe that is just because I spend too much time online and in creepy comms ... or on tumblr.

I would make really clear they're lavender not the latest epidemiology released by the CDC? They're really pretty! But the dust makes them look like clusters of ... things.

It's cottonwood pollen. I got these at a local farm last June and that fluffy pollen was everywhere. Yeah, it does look more like dust or webs, though.

they're intriguing-looking, but if one doesn't know they're lavender, they do resemble something out of a petri dish, or a SF movie

I was looking for interesting textures to shoot. Maybe I should turn these to black and white and add them to my creepy folder :)

I like them! Yes, they do kinda look like alien egg sacs, but I find that a good thing. ;-)

The first one especially looks like alien egg sacs, but the second and third photos look more plant-like! My favorite is the third one, it's really neat.

The 3rd one was initially my fave, but I have such a hard time curating these indoor shots. With landscapes I can always pick out the shot I like.

I admit if you hadn't said this was lavender I would be freaking...think "spider sacs" or insect things, but I've watched too much sci-fi so...

That said, I think if you explain the images are of lavender close-up showing their structure I do not foresee an issue:D
