Sunshine Challenge Day 2 - Orange

Orange is another challenge. Brown is a type of orange, but if I included browns that would be too easy. I've included a few peachy tones, but maybe I'll do a browns post outside the challenge.

So, oranges but not browns, let's go!

Thank you! I'm really glad I got the street art pics. I knew generally what part of town it was in, but it took me a few walks to track it down.

All of these are incredible, but some stand outs for me include the rust, the lanterns/parasol, and the peachy tones doorway that has a hint of stair in the background. What type of shop was that?

The peachy ones are, uh, a urns in an 8 story mausoleum. The southern wing has mostly urns.

Oh geez xD Definitely not a store. The set up just really reminded me of this one market section of London I visited.

Well, one of the few ways to get into the mausoleum is to hear a sales pitch, so ya know, they are in the business of selling :)

2020 ✹ Sunshine Challenge

I think my favorite is the peachy light through the doorframe.

That hotel room makes me feel vaguely uncomfortable. Fine if you are traveling solo or with a significant other, but I've shared a lot of hotel rooms with acquaintances. (including friends-of-friends that I hadn't even met prior to check-in) And the bathtub being right there is so odd. Even with the curtain drawn, I think I'd be taking the fastest shower possible. :-) It looks very cool though. 🧡

Thanks! I was traveling solo. That hotel also has tiny rooms meant for solo travelers. The room they gave me wasn't meant for someone on their own, judging by the fact the mini-bar had condoms.

I'm in love with the lilac chamber. That is such a satisfying image to look at! The depth of it, when you follow it back (my eyes were drawn up the stairs) is really captivating <3

In my town they tend to be pink, but that desert one I saw was very orange :)

These are lovely! My favorite is the lilac chamber. The layered peachy tones seem warm but also somewhat mysterious. It's an eyecatching picture :)
