Shooting at midnight, without a flash, no tripod, in a city that loves tall trees overhanging sidewalks, but hates street lights doesn't always work out great. I've got a bunch of reshoots to do. I did some walking tonight and I've got some places marked to go back to earlier in the day.

I tried using a small portable light so I wasn't shooting in absolute pitch black. Even a tiny bit of light makes a big different. But most of the shots looked terrible. I hate the look of flash photography so that is out as well. Maybe I can find some sort of small and diffused light to take with me.

I'm making progress, but slowly. I've done some good work on organizing my photography files. I really, really need to get another gallery for the website together, but I am too hard on all of my shots.
