How did fans get photos from conventions before we had good online image hosting? Buying prints on eBay!
I just found a photo I bought from an attendee of a Sentinel convention back in the day. I really wish I bought more. I remember looking at certain listings over and over again.

I may use my scanner to get a high quality version for myself, but it's someone else's photography so I just took a cell phone pick at an angle for now.
You can't see Richard's face clearly but they sharing a moment! And Garret's body language! They are likely possibly touching! I've had this photo for I guess over 20 years now? I wish I had been there.

Date: 2020-07-24 08:20 pm (UTC)From:It's way better these days to have easy access to diverse media, but I do miss the treasure hunt aspect. The idea that there are good movies out there, more genre films, you just need to hunt then down. I don't want to go back to that, but it was fun at times.
