The shambling orange nightmare monster is being admitted to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.
The White House has it's own medical center and has been likely prepping for Covid for the past year. This is a big deal. There are far better treatments now than 6 months ago, so it's not as serious as it would have been back then.
Anyway, my butt is going to try to stay away from updates by drawing, writing, doing my damn yoga today, watching the declining air quality out my window, watching Twitch streams (Deere from Team Stream Queens is back from her short break tonight!) and pretending pumpkin cinnamon roll vegan ice cream is a reasonable dinner.
I want to bask in schuedenfraude, but ... some of his supporters are freaking scary like, idk, the organized militias who like to visit and also the white supremacists that Dump gave a shout out to during the debate.
[edit] Just to be clear I am not scared that there will be riots or that Portland will become ... anything like how the media is trying to portray it. Just isolated incidents and weird kneejerk patriotism among centrists, etc. The effect on the election will be highly unpredictable, etc
