My plans for going out to day have been scrapped as the grocery stores are either closed due to power outages, or only open for 30 more minutes. So much for that. I've been watching people struggle through the un-shoveled sidewalks all day. One of my neighbors got his car out by clearing a section of the street and piling it on ... piling it on the sidewalk. My east coaster brain hurt watching that kind of behavior.
Anyway, I tried taking some pictures through my window.

Date: 2021-02-16 05:28 pm (UTC)From:Agreed. We have the same thing around here. I grew up in Nova Scotia, so we share the background of knowing how to deal with cold, and with snow - and with both at the same time, which brings a different kind of problem than just cold, or just snowy.

I love how delicate everything in that last picture looks, too.
