* I have new shoes! I was on my way to the Amazon locker to grab them when my right sock started getting wet. The sole didn't have a visible hole, but it was thin enough that water was just passing through.

Fortunately, these are not my 'walk 7 miles with my camera gear shoes' these are my 'everything else' shoes. The hiking shoes I wear on long walks are ... there is some tread left? One of the heels has worn away so much that some layer of material that isn't supposed to be visible is visible. Oops.

I really, really wear stuff into the ground.

* I've gone through ~100 pages of stock photos of gay couples to find pose refs I like. I was on page 83 before I realized that the surprising amount of photos of two guys with a heavily pregnant woman was likely for articles on surrogacy, not for m/f/m couples.

I need to fix my poor boots (more fashion than functional, but what I wear to work) because a side seam has come undone. I'm a big fan of wearing things until they truly die, but that *is* a little inconvenient when they finally give it up, and you don't yet have replacements.

Lol at the stock photos. Finding genuine polyam references is painfully difficult in my experience. (Much like finding softly intimate m/m refs, dammit.)

I think I should replace my hiking boots. I don't want to yet, but since I've been laid up twice with foot/ankle problems I likely should have insoles that still exist. If I was 20 I could wear them through but, I'm not. I also have literally worn through soles.

Once I figure out a good platform I want to host what I've scrounged. Maybe Imgur?

I don't have actual hiking boots, but the shoes I've been using for hiking have started letting in water if the sides get wet, and the tread isn't the best. I think I've had two pairs that I literally wore holes in, though not in the last ten years or so, haha.

I would definitely be delighted if you shared your collection of good images. Imgur seems pretty decent. I know image hosting has become a challenge to find.
