There is often something going on near the entrance to my grocery store. Stores / hotels / ect don't own the side walk and can't move people even if they are causing problems. People with petitions, splangers, people trying to sell arts and crafts, they often camp near the entrance because it's high volume. Also, the entrance to other local groceries face their own parking lots so those stores can keep the entrances clear. Due to it's logistics, it's this store people flock to sell homemade bracelets, yell about politics, etc.

Yesterday, some activist group set up several tables and were literally herding anyone on the sidewalk to the tables. There were a lot of them and they kept surrounding people and pulling down their masks to try to force them to the tables they set up. I walked into the road to get away from them.

I am so, so sick of this pandemic. I am so sick of not being able to go 'what the ever loving fuck is wrong with you?' to people sometimes. Last night I also dealt with a maskless group riding their bicycles down the sidewalk and again, I walked into the street to let them pass. This has been going on all pandemic, people using it as a way to push other people around. I am usually the sort to just stand on the sidewalk and look bored and let them navigate around me type.

A couple weeks ago on a photowalk someone was cruising down the sidewalk on his bike, maskless and smoking. Normally I'd just stop in place and let the asshole figure out how to get around me. But I am not going to mess with the maskless and they know it.

From now on I am going to walk to the further grocery store, or only go just before closing. Yesterday was just too nuts. There was at least 8 of them and just pulling down masks to herd and yell at people. Store can't do anything. Police are too busy to come.
