This Dean Devlin interview has more specifics about the new show than like anything so far...
His company actually owns the IP, it was never owned by TNT. Most reboots / revivals / etc involve a new owner for the IP, but this is the same owners. I am still a bit nervous because so many revivals go wrong, but I trusted this revival from the start despite ... what happened to X Files. I realized this was why I wasn't too cynical, it's literally the same people in charge and that's rare.
I held off posting yesterday for a while to not be posting too often. I was trying to consolidate news things. I was going to wait a bit before posting this, but it's the most substantial thing I've seen on what to expect from the new show ... and on a YT channel that averages like 100 viewers.
