* I really enjoy Jamie Campbell Bower and want to see more of him. Typically, if I get into an actor I watch their older stuff no matter how obscure or dumb. But Jamie's IMDB is all... Twilight, Fantastic Beasts and City of whatever by Cassandra Claire. Yeah, I think I'll pass. I'll just enjoy tumblr gifs of him in that leather harness thingie and him talking about his creative process in interviews.
* I was watching a long form video essay on nostalgia in media and though it was really good, until the guy when on a political rant that talked about the Democrats being useless despite controlling all 3 branches of government right now and it's like... What? Like one being controlled by Not-Democrats has been a big news story recently. wtf yo? Why do some people who make otherwise good videos on topics wing up having bizarre-ass politics? Also I disagree with his takes on the 2016 election. Politics and nostalgia are inter-related and it's important to be aware of that when writing period stuff like I do. But, making good media insights doesn't necessarily mean you have a clue about politics.
This is why I rarely click videos from creators I don't know, unless they are retweeted by Dan Olsen or something.
Also my Youtube homepage was literally half re-uploads of Joe Quinn crying at London Comic Con at one point. The algorithm is good for music, but nothing else.
* Now to nap, yoga and write... what are the changes I'll actually manage have that be my plan for the evening?
