* First day of heatwave went okay. Tomorrow should be the worst of it. Gunna try to photowalk tonight while it's cool unless I pass out.

* I am only 1.5 hours into The Stray and you can find places to nap... and when you do the cat stays napping until you interact again. It's not a timed animation like in most games. If you find a nice spot like in a hidden library you can just let the game run, listen to the must and watch the kitty sleep as long as you want.

* Why do I write so slow? I should have this chapter up tonight... but I don't yet.

there's also an achievement if you leave the kitty that way for a certain length of time!

I'm glad you're doing all right with the heatwave so far! I hope tomorrow isn't too bad.

Aw, that's lovely about The Stray. I like the idea that you can just leave the kitty napping.

I sympathize with the writing frustration. I hate that it takes as long as it takes.

It hasn't been too bad, but it's just making my focus suck :) Could be way worse, though. I am weathering it better than usual by just making sure to not be dumb.

Being smart about stuff will often mitigate a LOT of the worst of things. (It can't prevent everything all the time, but boy does it help.)
