I did some walking last night. Also a bit of light shopping for slap tags to lift for my journal lay out. It currently looks like this:



I do have a few other tags. I want to collect some and try to do a more planned layout.

It was a pretty short walk, only a hour. The heat keeps leaving me really tired.

I guess I have given up on going to the Bigfoot and Cryptid Fest thingie because getting there in this heat would be miserable even if I could find a place to stay. My brain is not happy at another set of plans, especially modest ones, falling apart. I don't know if I should try to plan something to look forward to for fall or just don't.

Still, it was good to make myself walk even if I was tired.

But it IS a good thing because like I mentioned in my posts - this version of Covid has hit 9 friends. A 10th friend found out she was exposed 3 weeks after she got the booster, but dodged the bullet. Not sure if that was relevant because I don't know the booster status of the ones that did catch it (2 households and a person who lived alone).

Also this heat is really just a bit too much - and I'm speaking from Texas.
I took a glance and WOW there are Bigfoot festivals on each coast! North Carolina, Oregon and West Virginia.
I totally want to try West Virginia. they got cryptids out the ying-yang there. When Bethesda set Fallout 76 in West Virginia, they were probably thinking "WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS SOONER?! OMG look at all these cryptids!!"
