Which is a key place it needs to be used! Or we'll wind up with the photography problem where, when people try to take a picture without the very aggro algorithms of a phone, not only does the picture suck but they can't even express what is wrong with it. It's not just a vocab thing, they lack enough visual awareness to even know if it's a tone, composition, focus, iso or other problem. Basically that, but with writing and people not even getting basic grammar, clarity or information organization. Just a fundamental lack of understanding so deep it's hard to even wrap one's head around, much less figure out how to even start helping.

Yeah for real. I think the Nerd Writer vid about it was good: The Real Danger Of ChatGPT.

Yeah, that is a good chunk of the problem. But also buying human written essays for a few bucks or blatant plagiarism have also been problems since the start of the internet. A lot of what's going on here is old problems on steroids. As someone who makes stuff there are always wolves at the door wanting to use my work to make money or build clout, and recently be NFT images. This is a really big wolf that a lot of idiots and nihilists want everyone to just let in.

Also, I had to write short essays in-class and hopefully current teachers also do that.
