I am trying to organize what books and audiobooks I have... and trying to do that in the kindle and audible apps just doesn't work. I could make a paper tracking thing, but is there an app I could use for books? I'd like to be able to easily annotate entries. Also Kindle keeps telling me I've only read about 10% of the books I've bought over the years and that's the opposite of true? I just went through my content library via the Amazon site and it's got a lot of stuff marked as unread that I definitely read, and on my kindle device specifically.
I wish I could group books into things like 'stuff only on my account because it was a freebie' and 'My TBR short list'. I'd also love to be able to shove certain purchases in a folder to hide them without deleting them from my account. I paid for that terrible content and sometimes want to go back and reference how bad they are. (There is a Named Fan who loves to push a specific book and misrepresents the content in it because she thinks if people just *try* that sort of content they'll like it. And for once I am not whining about A Companion to Wolves, it's a different horrible recc. I like being able to go 'yes, she says the book has no X, but X is literally the premise, here's an excerpt')
Seriously, why can't I even drag'n'drop to reorder books in the app?
In text books:
* Dreams and Shadows by C Robert Cargill
* Wolfsong by T J Klune
* Crown & Key Trilogy by Clay Griffon and Susan Griffon
* Lord of the White Hall by Gin Hale
* Flight of Icarus - The Eddie Stranger Things novel
* When No One Is Watching Alyssa Cole
* Before We Were Trans by Kit Heyam
* A Burglar's Guide To The City by Geoff Manaugh
* The Left Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix
* Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie
* A Rival Most Vial by R. K. Askwick
* The entire Necromancer of Beacon Hill series to date by S J Himes
In audio books:
* The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. LeGuin
* The Cascade Killer by Rob Phillips
* Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
I'd like to listen to more audiobooks to limit screentime, but we'll see how that goes. With audible especially I really need to sort out why a lot of this is on my account. There are a lot of freebies and promos, and some of those promos were from a weird attempt to push 'clean' stories in the mystery and other genre categories.
