So, I think I am doing a bit better. But I also found tylenol on the floor and eventually realized that what happened was I managed to drop it instead of put it in my mouth and didn't realize. I was just like 'wow I swallowed that easily'. So I doing better but am not expecting myself to be able to like do anything coherent for a few days.
Speaking of coherence, I may have gone into GW2 and spent 2/3rds of my account value stuffing the guild bank with miniature Lord Faren items and Miniature SouthSun (translation: bathing suit) Lord Faren items. This was before I realized I was running a fever and had drunk a cider in hopes of killing my headache. (collecting minis of in game creatures and characters is a big thing in GW2.) Anyway, my guild is now stuffed with several hundred gold worth of Farens and are doing random silly fun giveaways of them... which is funny but since I am not a very active player anymore that was a LOT of my account value. I've decided to not mention what lead to me 'pranking' the guild by rendering the bank unusable due to Too Many Farens.
But, this is one of the benefits of playing an MMO. I can make my bad life decisions and spend money in dumb ways there instead of IRL. I sometimes spend in-game currency in dumbs ways deliberately. Anyway, my brain's 'do dumb impulsive shit in Tyria, not Earth' subroutine was working.
It's weird to me that people equate good spending habits in-game with good habits IRL. I'm like... why would I do things in game the way I should IRL? I do things in-game that I would never do IRL. Anyway, rambling...
Guild Wars 2 is very suddenly going to have a Steam release on Tuesday. Established MMOs going to Steam is a big deal. This could possibly permanently spike the game's population... or if anything goes wrong with the Steam launch the game's name will be mud forever. So, that is exciting.
And now back to sleep I think
