It has been ages since I posted about so-called-AI! Anyway, there was a recent ruling confirming again that bot made work is not copyrightable and idiots are yelling that since you can't tell if something is bot, the ruling is meaningless. This is BS for a number of reasons from protecting writers to a huge over-estimation of bot writing. But, let's ignore all that for a second and just treat it like every other bit of plagiarism. You can't look at a single piece in isolation and see if it's plagiarized, but if you look at a creator's portfolio.

* Netflix released the deleted Cornetto scene from Red, White and Royal Blue.

* There needs to be a word for 'I get vibes from this and it feels validating but it's not representation'. Sometimes it's not meant to be and writers didn't even mean it as coded anything. Sometimes, they weren't even trying to he positive about said group. <- Sorry if my wording is obtuse bit it's either try to be short and vague or get into several long digressions. But yeah, we need a word for that in-between thing that is not rep, but also feels validating.

* I still take pictures I swear! My last few walks were not productive and then BG3, but also heat and AQ alerts. Honestly, it'll probably be a few more weeks but hopefully fall will be productive and I can refill my tumblr queue and post here.
