Sandman adaptations have been in development hell for ages. So many companies and tried and failed to complete this project.
Now Netflix says they are going to do it. With their track record I actually think this is going to happen? Even though announcements of Sandman movies and shows that never resulted in anything happened so often they were nearly a meme at a point ... and that point was so long ago that most people have forgotten it.
At one point sharing news of a Sandman adaptation on social media would get a person mocked, because news kept happening and nothing else.
Yet, despite all that if Netflix says it's happening, I actually believe them.
Hilariously, this is happening just after DC killed it's Vertigo imprint.
