My physical therapy is doing great things for my back, but my back is also now very, very sore and tired.
I've had my next appointment pushed out yet another week so I can't check in with my doctor about what I should be doing about this. I am pretty sure the tiredness and soreness are good, it's muscles that weren't engaging properly now pulling their weight so my back can work right. They just aren't used to it and are getting worn out. I am taking anti-inflammatories and took a long epsom soak last night and it did help, but also I kinda just want to lay on my back for the rest of the day in spine-neutral position.
I am also going on break from the routine I should be doing for a few days. I am not sure if it's the right call, but I just have to go with my best guess.
I watched Detective Pickachu last night and I paused the film 3 times to just lie on the floor because how tired my back felt was distracting me. This is why follow up appointments are a thing!
