Challenge #1 : In your own space, introduce yourself!

What am I again?

I spend a lot of time doing photography and I was just reading a composition book for fun. Evaluating things around me to see if there is a shot is part of my brain at this point. I do things like hike a few miles in the rain and come back with this one shot:

From this gallery on my personal site

I rarely shoot viewpoints. I shoot trails, the small details that makes landscapes unique, the details that make cities awesome, and am also guilty of lots of shots of my feet. If you want to see more, my personal website is here and some of the photography posts I've made on DW are indexed here along with a few other things.

I am also someone who has been in fandom a loooong time. These days I am mostly into older, obscure fandoms. I am currently rewatching The Sentinel and working on Buckaroo Banzai fan art, so, yeah. That is how current my fandoming is right now.

Very intriguing photography. I like it! You make me want to dig my digital camera out although I only seem to manage pictures of my thumb.

Confession: I have all 4 seasons of The Sentinel on DVD and love the fanfic. I think it might be time for a rewatch too. :)

Hello! Stopping by from the Snowflake challenge. Wow! Your photos are stunning. May I ask, what do you mean by "I rarely shoot viewpoints"? Photography-ignorant here, I'm afraid. I would have thought everything would be a viewpoint shot, through your lens.

I'm an old fandom person, too, although there are a few new shows that I love. TS was an old favorite. Hmm. *eyes DVDs*

Cool, thank you for the explanation.

Ooh, and thank you for the link to the inking you do--wow, that's gorgeous as well. So, yes, continue with the English-language 90s urban fantasy if it means you keep doing that. *g*

I have just started a Sentinel rewatch myself, just coming to the end of S1. It's ridiculous how utterly gleeful the opening credits make me. And I really need me a Blair Sandburg icon... hmmm *pokes DW*

I love your photography! Something I'd like to get more into is photography. I started a while ago but I didn't fully dedicate myself to learning the craft of it.

Also - silly question - how would you describe Sentinel? I've seen it pop up and around my fandoms -- especially Stargate Altantis. :)

I think 2020 LittleLostCat is gonna try and pick up the old camera again. I need to get my DSR checked out -- the auto focus on one of my lenses is messed up :(

I'll have to see if I can find Sentinel -- and that's where I've seen it. There's a big SGA/Sentinel AU thing and I haven't read them because I don't know anything really about Sentinel. I feel like I'm missing out! haha

Hullo! Here fron [community profile] snowflake_challenge.

Lovely to learn more about you :-) Your photographs are beautiful.

Also been in fandom a while! Through the days of forums, yahoo & LJ...where does the time go?

I have only seen one episode of The Sentinel, but love the fandom Sentinel/Guide trope. My goal is to watch the actual TV series this year.

Is it okay to subscribe to you? =^_^= Obviously no need to add back :_)

Why don't I have more fannish projects done by now?

Ditto on that sentiment! Life and time seems to flutter past quick as a hummingbird's wings. Lol

I have heard that some of the later Sentinel episodes were...not so good, but hopefully the earlier seasons remain interesting! Happy viewing :-)
I will definitely share my reactions when I view the source material, I look forward to your reactions as you progress :-D

It is fascinating that one show has had such a huge impact on fandom yet isn't better known.

Thank you, added!

I adore your work. That first shot and the cliff flower are my favorites of what's here.

Isn't Buckaroo Banzai a Constant Fandom of yours?
