I injured my hand very slightly about a week and a half ago at the gym. If it had been anything but my right index finger it would have been no big deal, but everything in modern life involves that finger. Writing, drawing, photo editing, etc. It really was a tiny injury, but resting my hand as much as possible to not aggravate it has been a pain. I've been posting and doing a bit of sketching, but no writing or working on certain projects.
I did wind up ordering the eco friendly watercolor set. 2 actually, the full palette and the mini travel one. The travel one has slight different colors and formulations. I finally put water to them tonight and they are very smooth. I only used them a bit, but it was nice to practice water control. I need to do swatching soon, and also do a new swatch card for my franken-palette, and a new chart of 'skin tones I can make and how to make them'. Doing watercolor seems to involve endless swatching.
And now to watch shows instead of write or art to rest my hand. It's pretty much healed, it really is such a stupidly tiny problem, but if I aggravate it then life sucks.
