Arg. I was all set to have a gallery to toss up tonight, but my photos are going splort when I re-size them. Splort is not a technical term, it's just the best PG-13 way to describe what's happening to the images.

None of the images are truly macro images, turns out I don't have the right sort of lens. Apparently I am doing 'close focus' with the lenses I have.

The other problem that I am having is that 99.9% of my photography is from noticing details and composition while I am out exploring. Studio work, when you make the shot instead of find the shot, is very different. But the biggest stumbling block is that I do 'normal field of vision' photography the vast majority of the time. So I know what I want from shots like that, I have an aesthetic. With these I am lost and don't know what I'd do to improve them.

Okay, enough babble. I need to find a way to resize these.
