I finally weighed myself and I've only gained seven pounds during all this. Actually, that is a lot for the time span, but I feared worse somehow. My jeans still fit but they are tight. I lose weight slowly, so this is a pretty big setback.
The staple of my diet right now is rice. I am a stress eater and I've not been walking nearly enough.
I am trying to somewhat turn that around. I am trying to at least eat healthier and do more at home exercise. I am not focusing on weight loss, just getting more active, moving more, stretching more.
My plans for this summer are scrapped and I am not getting younger. So, for next summer I really need to be able to tackle some things. I'd been thinking of walking the Oregon Coast trail. I'd been thinking of tackling it in one week sections, I was going to do at least two this summer.
I think I'll make a list of my 'must do' things in a separate post. If I want to do those things, walk that trail along an abandoned rail line and really get up in the southern Cascades, I need to working on that now. Moving, hurting my knees by sitting too much less.
