* Seeing Harley Quinn: The Animated Series gifs on the King Shark tag on tumblr makes me want to watch the show. If it starts streaming somewhere I should check it out.
* My brain has started paying attention to 'non-mask voices'. Masks muffle people at least a little bit, my brain has started paying attention to voices that are too clear as a possible thing to navigate around. That's normal, right?
* A house I was interested in had turned out to have hilariously bad foundation problems. As in, multiple incomplete inspections because once that was checked they didn't even bother finishing the inspection. Strangely, it seems to be a buyer's market right now because a lot of first time buyers have held off for years and with the interest rates so low are finally actually shopping. I thought the stock on RMLS looked very anemic. The realtor I chatted with told me that if I can be shopping in 3 months rather than now I should do a lot better. Right now I'd be in competition with people who've waited and planned for years for this chance in the market. A lot of current rental properties are expected to wind up on the market, but they haven't shown yet. All those AB&Bs, etc.
The house market shift people are expecting hasn't actually happened yet. That's good news for me, I'd rather be dealing with this in a few months and I can wait. Also, everything said she tracks with what I've seen in the market, and I doubt she'd encourage me to wait to buy a house if it wasn't the best move. Honestly, the prices I seeing things go for are nuts even by Portland standards. I was curious as to why, and now I know.
* If you enjoy odd real estate listing, I found this in my local searches. (I'm searching by area not price right now, that is NOT my range.)
