Still bad here, current best guess is 2x the Hazardous level through Thursday.

I broke down and went grocery shopping last night. I was down to a cup of pasta, margarine, nutritional yeast, culinary lavender and 5 kinds of sugar. I wasn't going to hold out and didn't want to actually run out of food.

At the store they were opening the door just enough for people to squeeze through. The air in the store wasn't bad, which makes sense as they need to keep it cool and likely have pretty heavy duty HVAC and spare filters. I didn't linger, especially since most shoppers were just barreling through and ignoring aisle direction. I just grabbed some stuff and got out. I grabbed tortilla chips so I guess I am having nachos a lot this week. Fine with me, diet and exercise are currently suspended.

I was dizzy when I got home and sort of crashed out and napped twice. I've always done poorly in smoke, more poorly than I should. I don't know why.

I was really hoping we'd start to get a break by tomorrow! sorry you had to venture out, but food is kinda essential.

the smoke isn't actual breathable air; the effects of breathing it aren't great. here's hoping the dizziness doesn't last and you
can stay inside until Thursday, when it'll hopefully be much better

We have a giant fan set in our entryway, between the two sets of doors, facing out near the exit, that has helped a bit to keep the smoke from getting in. But mostly we just need things to not be on fire. (My target is not all that far away from the Holiday Farm Fire and we've been getting so many displaced people buying emergency food and stuff.)
