October Inkings Days 4, 5, 7, 8ish

Star = Perfect Tommy! I used Duncan Jay Hennings, Orville Peck's guitarist, as a image ref. Specifically, from the Cowboys are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each other cover. Duncan makes a pretty solid image ref for Tommy, with a few changes like a bass instead of a guitar.

I am currently working on re-inking this, but the battery for my lightbox needs to recharge so I decided to post. I think I am going to keep re-inking it until I am fully happy with it.



Fortune - My Mystic themed doodle page. I'd already planned to do this and decided to count it. I finding ways to have the projects I assigned myself count for the Drawsome.

I also did a few test runs of the doodle sheet for practice and to pick what type of pen to use:





Alchemy - My Alchemist drawing! Full disclosure, I was supposed to do this as my 2019 project and it's been sitting next to my computer taped to my drawing board for a year. I'd sketched the dude and inked only a few lines, like the pot in the lower left that I total screwed up.

I'd like to add more details to the face and also add to the clutter, but I liked it and was scared of messing it up, so I decided to call it done.



Forest - Bit of a stretch, but for forest I did a camping doodle page. I've done camping doodle pages for practice before, you can see the bottom of an old on in the shot.

These are excellent! I especially like all the details in the doodle pages, and in the alchemist one. Camping and hiking stuff absolutely works for the forest prompt!

Thanks! I enjoy them, but spend forever picking what items to draw (and then decide a tea cup or a mug works for every theme I do)
