Right?!?!? I finally gave up on work about half an hour in.

I had one thing I planned to get done today, just one thing and I still haven't gotten to it.

I was so distracted I forget to drink my coffee and got a headache.

I was so distracted I forgot to take my morning meds. normally I take them when I get to work, but the lock was broken so I couldn't get in and I felt sick anyway, so I came home. and almost immediately got caught up by the reporting. oh well, hope I don't die *g*

maybe we can both be productive tomorrow?

well, skipping isn't *good* but not instantly fatal. I did take the most important ones after lunch (when I realized) and should be fine. but one is a two-a-day pill, so now I'll have to take the evening ones several hours later than usual. maybe I should get them out now, so I don't forget!

I was at work and was just about useless for the whole damn day once I heard about that whole "attempted coup" thing.

That sucks. Were you able to keep in the loop on things or did you have to wait on news and pretend to work?

My boyfriend texted me updates, and I was able to surreptitiously scroll FB for updates from a couple journalists I trust. I had to mainly pretend to work in between newsbursts though, which was increasingly hard as the day went on.
