In your own space, brag about yourself. Tell us what things you've done that you're proud of; the things that make you the wonderful person you are.
This is tricky because I regularly post every fan work I do, and every art thing I do. I really want to post about my WIPs instead because I've put so much work into them ... but they are still very much WIPs and are in no shape for posting.
Under the cut are 5 arts, one photo gallery and 2 fics. They are ones that are important to me and that I am proud of for specific reasons, not all of them are my best work. Some got no response when I posted them, but are still important to me.
The most recent of my completed isometric rooms. It used some techniques I hadn't learned yet on my previous one:

(I swear I'll get my next two done soon ... as I've been saying for like a month or two.)
This drawing:

It took me a long time. I should try coloring it. Still really happy with it.
That I can do properly tiling patterns:

This needs more work, but learning patterns have been a pain point on a number of projects that I initially started literally years ago. I have a few more of these in progress.
This re-inking:

Into:

It's still not great and I should have just started from scratch. But loosening up and revising my work is hard for me. I used crappy sketch paper forever that shredded if I did too many changes.
... I should still just redo that from scratch. Hardison's lower torso and hips are so off.
This landscape gallery using a fully manual lens:
Neskowin Ghost Forest Through A Lensbaby.
That top picture in the gallery is my favorite picture I've taken. My Mausoleum and Street Art galleries are more popular, but I love those manual shots. I am working on some more Lensbaby galleries.
This old Legolas/Gimli fic:
6 Myths About Elf Sex
I had a long stretch where I couldn't write due to health reasons. Also, back in the era I wrote this I knew some other fic writers IRL and they were really harsh on me. They kept telling me to not post because it was going to give them second hand embarrassment and also that I was such a bad writer that I couldn't even understand how bad I was. But that fic still bringing in kudos and comments after all these years is why I did get back into writing.
Annnnnnndd....
This the first fic I wrote after a long absence from writing, Away For The Holidays. It's a Jeeves/Wooster fic. Not my best or most liked fic, but writing it and posting it was a big deal for me. Focusing was still hard and I had a lot of voices in my head that I needed to shut up. So, I'm proud of it.

Nice job re-inking! And reminding me to get back to finishing Leverage...
Those pictures of the Ghost Forest are so cool! I love the surreal look it gives them (with a surreal subject already.) Some of them look like the kind of strange photos that belong in a creepypasta or micro sci-fi story. A mysterious photo with cryptic origin... the single photo of an alien landscape on a roll of film in a found camera...
Also, I am so sorry that you knew irl fandom people who were that awful to you. :( I can't imagine saying something like that to someone, or how much it would hurt to have someone say things like that.
I'm adding the LotR fic to my to-read list.

Date: 2021-01-19 09:39 am (UTC)From:The Neskowin Ghost Forest is awesome. It's only viewable for 4 or 5 one hour windows throughout the year. I am really glad I went out, and also got up in the dark to trudge through a river and across wet sand. It was a lot of fun to shoot :)
Yeah, the stuff they said was so over-the-top assholeish that I should have ejects them from my life immediately. I didn't because I was dumb.

Yeah, I used to put up with some over the top toxic people. Still trying to clean my brain out after all that.

Date: 2021-01-23 02:25 pm (UTC)From:Also, good for you for posting your Legolas/Gimli fic. Those other writers were horrible. Glad your fic is still bringing in kudos/comments and that it inspired you to get back into writing. And hurrah for posting your Jeeves/Wooster fic after a long absence from writing - so important to be proud of such achievements because writing after a wait it can be nerve-wracking to dive back into the writing world; getting those voices down as well is fun and freeing.

Date: 2021-03-23 08:45 am (UTC)From:That's beautiful. I like the use of purple, and the bookcase. No kitchenette, it seems; that would work as part of a suite or somewhere else with a common kitchen.

Very nice use of curves.
