Prompt: So Portland

From the prompts I was given here. I thought this one would be easy since I post Portlandy stuff on the regular, but it mostly made me want to go out and get all new pictures for my Portland folders. But maybe I overthink things?

Anyway, I do have one new picture for this gallery, a sidewalk pumpkin I saw the other night:



Fall is coming! Signs of fall are around!

And yup, parking strip pumpkin patches are a thing here:



















Part of me is "I can do so much better than this!" but then part of me is all "Yeah, but also you used a lot of your top shelf pictures for the previous challenges."

Still, I need to take more pictures. I wish I'd gone out last night. I was dumb and forgot I had commitments today and can't go out. Maybe Sunday?

I think it would feel more complete with some weird people in it, but I haven't been to events or street faires in forever. Murderboat and things like that were outside city limits. Still, need more pictures :)

you definitely did the prompt justice! so many terrific Portlandy things. the stairs made me think of Forest Park, so hearing their actual location isn't a surprise

Oh, these are joyful, thank you!

I've got one sugar pie pumpkin that's reached an adult size this year. It's still green but I have hope. I am on the Coast and between fog and greenery don't get much sun and now the firesmoke is again blocking the ripening heat but it's still lovely to have the plant. Sidewalk gardens are awesome; pumpkin vines are just the best.

I love the pole art. And kitty. And the parade with a collection of humans!
