My hobbies including standing on a dark street corning taking pictures of embroidery until the details are clear enough that it's easy to tell it's stitches:

I still cannot find my SD card adapter, so I finally grabbed the photos using my camera's memory like an external drive ... and then remembered why I don't do that. Windows doesn't eject the media correctly. There is a reason why I do my files transfers in the exact way that I do, and am very careful of that adapter.

Oh well. I'll find the annoying thing.





I really need to reshoot this. The grainy high-ISO kinda works for the subject matter, but it's still not great.

There are 3 embroidery artists active in Portland street art it seems! This one is laughingclub on instagram. If I didn't shoot it right it kinda looked like it might be pen.

I love the house, must shoot it gooder, tho

I can see how, especially in the dark, it could look more like pen strokes than embroidery.

The grainier look of the photos is fitting for them, but I hope you get a chance to go back.
(I do really like that third one, with the jack-o-lanterns and the spooky window.)
