I've had a Bujo Breakthough. I don't know if I've talked about it here or just over on the Planners and Journals comm, but there are so many marker sets, video channels, etc all for making very femme planners and bujo. I've been trying to collect info on marker sets, lay out ideas, etc, that are either more masc or in the middle.

I've had a great idea for doing masculine bujo layouts, using beer labels as washi tape.

I am working on a 'airships at night' layout right now, and used bits from Ecliptic labels under the day/date.

Plaid layout in progress (hopefully, plaids are hard):

I could do that again but layer it differently so the 'checkered flannel' is showing, but not the 'brown ale'.

This is a mess because I'd put in the wine can label and then just added to the Threshold label bits to see if it would work:

But both could work as pseudo-washi

Hispter micro-brews tend to work best because of the type of label material they use. It's easy to pull off, cut and just stick down. I'd been pulling labels from good beers and ciders and sticking them in my planner for a bit.

If I can get enough sample layouts and info together I want to do... something with it, put a resource somewhere. Not sure where.

I am just very amused by the concept of beer label washi tape.
