* Because, I think, due to people staying in hotels to have hotel A/C my rebooking options for this weekend are mostly... $600 or more per night. I don't want to fucking cancel this, but they are already worried about attendee safety with heat and possible smoke. There is one cheaper booking option, but with rooms being that tight I am worried my room will get yoinked from me as has happened with my Last Two Bookings.

I was hoping that the heat wave wouldn't be as bad as forecast and suddenly cancellations.

Sadly, I am not up to trying to day trip this considering the possible weather stuff. I am not 100% giving up yet... I guess just daily checks if suddenly room prices plummet from cancellations.

* But the worse of the heat wave is over! Oh, wait, now Thurs or Fri is supposed to he worse.

This morning I checked our weather and it said "AM showers" and I was like.. excuse you? But I did smell rain in the rain (but it is not actually raining). It's still supposed to be super hot this afternoon which I think is unfair.

We were supposed to be on the down slope, but now it looks like not and it'll be around longer than expected. Yeah, I think my dreams of going to the Bigfoot and Crypid Fest are over
