I went and did a lot of errands yesterday. Not sure how much I walked, but it was a lot. I managed to acquire all but two toiletry items, might go downtown for that. Targets just keep being sold out of everything and pharmacies... I hate taking pictures in stores for some reason but I grabbed this in my journey yesterday:

Empty shelves and a cardboard fridge door. Also no Diet Coke. This is the pharmacy nearest me.

I don't want to be picky about skin products but ... I have a skin condition and don't want to rub stuff I am allergic to around my mouth. Weirdly, most people don't get why I wont use skin products with ingredients I have a food allergy to. Also, skin products are something I wont order online, too often it obviously hasn't been stores right.

Anyway, I have some things and also I have a haircut I am very pleased with. Got some pictures done, but..

Of all the days to not have a Lensbaby lens on me!

I haven't pulled any of my pictures yet, that is a cell phone photo of my camera preview. I was just walking by and was like "Oh!... Oh goddammit!" Sadly, they have no retail/company store in Portland. That is just the company.

Sat for a bit in a traffic roundabout in The Subtraction and, well, worked on a Steddie porn scene:

Lunch:

Waiting for my haircut:

Google maps says I walked at least 7 miles based on where I went, but I wasn't taking efficient routes and was also wandering. So, 8 or 9 miles I guess.

I can commiserate at least a tiny bit - I am allergic to jojoba and most fragrance/perfumes so it is a good thing I don't care much about make-up and beauty products. But the two body lotions I can use are at least big brands - Aveeno and Palmers.

That dairy case is so very sad. I feel like it's weird my store is so well stocked comparatively.

That's a LONG walk.

Congrats on getting stuff and a good haircut! :D

Though such an empty pharmacy seems so bizarre!

Lunch looks amazing.

And dammit on not having the Lensbaby lens on hand!

But ugh, the number of times people have recommended things with almond (or sometimes like... cashew) oil in them to Alex for skin and hair stuff... And are then baffled when he says that the tree nut allergy means that's probably a bad idea.

Right? It's weird how weird people are about allergies! Even if there wasn't a risk of hives or other skin symptoms, or for accidental ingestion via water droplets or accidentally touching your lips or the like, applying allergens is usually not a great plan!

Ugh, reactions to the crumbs and dust sounds miserable. Not super surprising, but extra awful.
