* A publisher is selling stolen fanfic on Amazon, a lot of it.

* I played too much GW2 and didn't write much last week, but that's okay. I was really caught up in setting up my ranger character, which is a lot of work. Also, I completed the Old Lion's Court strike mission with my guild, which was cool. We finally took a serious stab at it right after they significantly buffed the encounter. Oops.

It's December and doing some MMO stuff is good as long as I am enjoying it and not getting caught up in, ya know, acting like I have to. It's not great, but it's better to seek out what social or social-ish things I can. But, now I need to focus more on writing because I also want to be productive... and I am still in that state where I am sort-of close on a few projects.

* I need to shoot a lot more soon. I am less than 250 days into my photo-a-day blog but am finding it way too hard to find more things to queue. Partially, it's because I want to hold off on the obviously summer/spring pics until spring/summer. Also, as cool as all the embroidery, little free libraries and bananas are, I need to find more stuff that's not that.

God, I fucking saw that shit with the stolen fic. Not the first time that it's happened, but this is more blatant and includes a lot more work than the previous cases I've seen.

I'm glad you're having fun with the MMO stuff! I know that feeling (if not about the same thing) where balancing the "having fun at this is good" with "having to act like this is a great time is not" is a consideration.

But I hope that writing goes well. Being close to completing projects is for me one of the hardest parts!

Also hope you can get out and shoot more. I understand wanting to keep things somewhat seasonally appropriate, and also mixing up the subjects.

Has anyone heard if AO3's team is officially complaining about the plagiarism? This practice makes me so mad.

I don't know. This happens a lot, this is just a particularly prolific and blatant example.
