* I got two comments to my photography tumblr this morning complimenting me! Woo!
* I am closing in on a full year of daily posting. I really thought it would be like 3 years before I was having trouble posting. I have so many years of folders! But, just a year cleaned me out pretty good. Once the full year is up, I think I will just fill the queue when it has content and let it post daily and if it runs out it runs out. The queueing system is great and most posting to tumblr so much less work than other sites, but the smallest unit is 'per day', I can't set up posting 2-3 times per week. Just filling when I have stuff is likely the most streamlined way to do things.
* I did some shooting in the rain tonight. My gear is currently drying out and I am going to need to clean my stuff. I went to take off my lens cap... but it was already off so I touched the glass of one. My focus was a bit shit. I'd dragged myself out of the house because I was in a bad mood and trying to write or watch stuff wasn't going to help. Walking didn't help mush either. Still, I walked and was productive.
* Oh god, look at what I did to my lens!

It's clean now, but ugh. I am typically very careful with my stuff. I don't make mistakes like that almost ever, I'm pretty methodical, especially when I shoot with lens hoods that hide whether the cap is on
* I've used up my habit tracker and the new one has arrived, but I will miss the sticker on mu old one:

Date: 2023-04-08 03:50 am (UTC)From:I think that queuing when you have content is good. I also think it'd be worth putting old posts in the queue as reblogs, both ones that were well-liked and ones that didn't get the attention they deserve. It'd likely be a bit more time-consuming to set the queue up this way, but if you could get it to alternate between reblogs of older posts and new stuff, that'd be nice, and would sort of help to stretch the newer content out a bit. Not sure that would be worth the annoyance of having to set it up that way, though!
But I do appreciate that on the whole, tumblr isn't hostile to self-reblogs. I know I like it when artists I follow do that - either it lets me see things I missed the first time, or lets me see things I like again!
