* If the writer's strike happens I may need to go into social media lockdown. I am not a WGA member or an expert so I shouldn't be commenting on stuff to try to explain... but goddam people are dumb. My favorite is 'I am sure the writers of my favorite show didn't vote for this so they wont' go along with the strike'. *facepalms* Also some people think it would be EZ PZ to have chatGPT do the writing and have writers 'just' edit and rewrite, under ghost names to protect them. Man, the list of issues with that idea...

These idiots are not worth my time and it's not worth trying to do push back on dumb shit online in the current social media landscape. It doesn't stem any tide, it just gets you tied up talking to some tech bro who's into chatbots as his rebound relationship from NFTs falling apart. These programs and NFTs are very different, but the promotional playbook of 'if you don't get with me you will be left behind and forgotten and poor' is nearly identical. Also the smugness and 'you know nothing...' etc. The only reason anyone could ever disagree, criticize, etc must be due to ignorance too profound to try to correct.
