* Band Nerds is posted. Steddie, Explicit.

Steve and Robin wind up hanging with Eddie's band and they learn a lot about each other. Eddie finds out that Steve has secretly been listening to a bootleg of a Corroded Coffin show and is equal parts moved and really horny. <- This is the only good story summary I've ever written.

* I need to stick a fork in my VHS Bootleggers fic... and name it.... next. But I read a terrible, terrible werewolf fic and as bad as it was I wanted to keep reading it. And now I really want to see what shape my werewolf fic is in. But, no touchie until I get another fic done and posted. I have enough active WIPs

* I've started watching Dead Ringers the TV show. I haven't seen the... I think the original was a movie? It's intense.

That's an excellent summary.

I have a love/hate relationship with how sometimes reading an objectively terrible (or at least not great) fic can be its own brand of inspiring.

The fic changed POV between paragraphs, had terrible SPaG and had Steve cry because no one had given him a present since he was 8 years old, before the adoption. Points for delivering what people really want, but I just couldn't keep reading

UGH. That does sound terrible, lmao. There was a writer in The Witcher fandom who wrote some real id-fuel trash, and some of the trope mixes should have been ideal guilty pleasure brain candy for me... but they were such a MESS. Typos, terrible stilted dialogue, plots that started iddy and then petered out to bland nothing... Tragic!

Right? I'm a bit envious (especially if they can keep the id-bait/id-candy high the whole way through), but if only it could be READABLE on top of it!
