* The WGA and AMPTP have reached a tentative agreement. Source

* Netflix has floated interest in getting the rights to do a live action BG3 and wow, yeah, I am not seeing anyone happy or even tentatively interested. The reaction seems to be either 'oh please no' or 'why not animated?'

* My router may be dead, so I am using my laptop pulled into the ethernet cable, which fine but this is a problem for all my other devices.

I'm very glad for the tentative agreement! It sounds like they got much of what they wanted and deserved, and I hope that it goes through. I also hope that a similarly favorable agreement goes through soon for SAG-AFTRA!

Oof. I hadn't heard that, but... yeah. I can see that being a hard adaptation in any sense (as mentioned before - every experience of the game being so different and based around individual choice), but... faith in Netflix is understandably pretty fucking low, lol.
