I wanted to wait to get more before I posted, but it's Halloween so I want to post. I had hoped to go out tonight, but that's not looking good right now. I am feeling better, but don't want to push it.

What a great batch!

Somehow I like the uncropped version shot more. Can't explain while. My eye is drawn more to the the mask, I think, because of its positioning?

It might be because the cropped version focuses more on the mask but the uncropped version makes the bush as the No-Face, and that's why their face is more obvious? Or at least, that's how it feels for me.

Hrm, maybe my first instinct was right? I usually tend to focus as tight as I can on art projects without losing context, but I really liked the contrast of the abandoned building with the trees behind and this guy sort of growing out of it.

The more I look at the two versions, the more I like the uncropped one. I think the light on the left upper corner helps a lot to frame them as a bush No-Face.

Good to know. I really liked the cascading greens there and how they frame things. Also, the uncropped picture is doing not bad on tumblr so it must be pretty read-able.

I've never actually watched any Ghibli films, for people familiar with the mask thingie the face probably pops more

A good batch! No-Face is obviously my favorite but the utility pole and the skeleton party are also cool.

These are all great! I love both the shots of No-Face, and that skull in the garden is particularly spooky/lovely.
