* If you don't know why James Somerton was trending last night you've lead a better life than me and you don't want to know. I honestly did not have 'so addicted to internet attention that he couldn't resist posting hole the same day he faked his suicide' on my bingo card. He was active on his alt accounts while HBomb, Kat and Jesse Gender were getting harassed.
Talk about showing your whole ass...
The part that gets me? With all the research HBomb and Kat did, there is a 99.9% chance they knew his alts. When Kat said she had confirmation he was alive she may have meant she'd just seen his twig and berries.
I want to ramble about a few things about this situation, but I don't really know what it's been like for those harassed or otherwise hurt in all of this. I'm just pissed at a lot of stuff. The whole Somerton situation should never have gotten as far as it did.
[edit] Council of Geeks just confirmed that they knew. So yeah, if they knew, lots knew. In situations like this, you pretty much need to keep a close eye on the person and see things you don't want to see
