The only reason this viral Tiktok doesn't have higher views is due to rampant reposting. It blew up so much that the creator opened it up for people to add verses like in this youtube short. Covers and fan art are also starting to pop up. So, at what point does this go from 'random joke song' to actual cryptid? Slendy came from a photoshop challenge... or did he?

I am like... violently allergic to having to listen to things with sound, so I have not seen the video or heard the song... but I have seen people memeing the lines in text a couple times already.

Seems like a valid way for a cryptid to be discovered.

Yeah, it's starting to have an interest amount of traction. I like the idea that Cartville made a complete earworm to warn people, maybe the song is embedded with bardic magic.

I kinda love when weird stuff like that blows up.

And I think that a sort of meta-narrative about the song being a warning about an existing thing would work really well as a way of explaining this new cryptid. :D
