Someday I will get the perfect layered shot with vintage infrastructure, nature and the city in the background. This is not the shot, too much haze in the air so the city isn't crisp, but I was there to check out the new 'accessible' path. Yeah, when I said months ago it was 'open, but not done', yeah, it needs a lot of work still.

But I like how it's got a nice urban fantasy vibe. I've taken a lot of swings at the shot in the past and did some more pics while I was there anyway.

Nearly missed this. I saw the chair, but my brain almost didn't process the size. I guess they are going for a subtle fairy tale these:

More fun with Portland infrastructure. Yes, this is a city street, however...

That is not a city sign. The sizing is all wrong. I am very familiar with Portland sidewalks and that is from a grouchy neighbor.

The sign reads "This Is Fine Art"

Portland Mausoleum:

Or part of it. That's the view from below, but you can only about a 3rd of it. Those lower windows is the start of the super mid-century bit, can't see the southern section at all. Top middle is the fancy alcoves with grey marble, area on left... fountains and the area for kids I think?

So much good art! Love the floating trees.
And the picture of the mausoleum through the tracks is so cool.
