Some ballot boxes in Portland had been burned to destroy them. Meanwhile, there was a similar fire several hours later at a ballot box in the Fisher’s Landing neighborhood in Clark County, Wash., and hundreds of ballots were reportedly destroyed by the blaze, KATU reported. Track your ballot.

Turns out the Portland boxes have fire suppression built in, not sure if I'm happy or depressed. Hundreds of WA ballots got burned, though.

I really hope everyone who used those ballot boxes checks if their ballot got received or not. This sucks so much.

There is plenty of lead time at least. The pictures of firefighters trying to rescue ballots and just that our boxes have anti-arson measures is just messing with me right now
