* After a Crack in Leadership, Dueling World Naked Bike Rides Are Now Scheduled in Portland This Summer
So, pick your poison. Naked Ride light with only 1k people expected, or the full 10k people passing by. Let me tell you, 10k naked people going by, it takes a while. The nakie starts and it just don't stop for a while.
* I had dental work today and at the end of the appointment I was told no coffee, tea or soda for 24 hours. So, slight problem. The bright lights in my face from getting dental work done gives me a migraine and caffeine is one of the few solves for that. So I came home to caffeine, caffeine all around and not a drop I could drink.
I ordered same-day delivery of a clear energy drink. I never drink energy drinks because I keep my caffeine intake diffuse, slow it down. This Celsius stuff tastes vile, overly sweet and has BS wellness claims about 'burning fat' on it, but actual effect isn't too bad. I know I had a LOT drinking a whole can over 3 hours, but I feel okay, none of the 'too much' side effects. Very much looking forward to it accelerating my metabolism. Going to stick the rest in the back of a closet for emergency use only. Very, VERY glad I never got into energy drinks or Panera lemonade, it's hard to manage my caffeine intake as it is.

Date: 2025-03-16 02:25 am (UTC)From:Celsius is slightly less vile-tasting to me than some of the energy drinks I've tried. It's not *great*, though it's best when as cold as possible... the instant it starts warming up it gets worse and worse. But the effect is decent when I need something caffeine-wise, either for headache or focus reasons, and the morning coffee isn't cutting it.
