I hadn't done this in a while, but I went on google maps and dropped pins everywhere I know I was yesterday. If I walked the most efficient route between those points, I would have walked 10.7 miles. But my route wasn't efficient, it was wandery. So, tack on at least another mile. That's not too bad!
When I got home I was pretty tired, so I neglected to open my camera bag and leave my very, very wet gear out to dry. It's fine, but I don't want to leave my bag's interior wet like that. I also cleaned my gear today. There was something on my sensor, so I had to clean that, too. I hate cleaning the sensor. It wasn't too bad. I still have never needed to use a wet process on it. I tested my sensors for cleanliness a few months back. Somehow, they are in good shape!
It's weird when I get all these ads for protective rain covers for cameras. If I had another system could I really not just have it hanging out on a capture clip in the rain for hours? I am careful with my Lensbabys, but the rest of my gear I just rinse in the sink if it get muddy.
