Jan. 19th, 2023 12:23 amI love this stage of working on isometric stuff, it makes so much visual sense:

blerg, I sometimes think the shapes are opposite of what they are until more of the outline is settled.
I haven't posted about my isometric projects in a while because I've mostly been poking at fan maps for Phasmophobia... ones I could have posted to official fan art contests if I ever finished them, but I can't quite figure out the floorplans I want.
For those who haven't seen my projects, ( a few examples under the cut )
Two of those are from a long running project I *will* complete, but uh... eventually. Also, by the time I finish that project I'll need to redo it all to have it more consistent stylistically, skill level wise and medium wise.
Right now I am working on a 'Steddie Apartment' which is my take on what them living together in a studio apartment in Chicago might look like, Chicago being the nearest big city. The problem is that we've seen Eddie's room that was definitely decorated by him, and he has lots of hobbies that involve items that can be placed in a space. Steve not so much. He likely values having space to stretching and bodyweight exercises when the weather is too foul and not being too cluttered.
I really, really want to make mausoleum and roadhouse maps for Phas but keep stalling out. At least for this it's closer to isometric projects I've done so I am going along at a good clip so far.
