I haven't made a posting filter in a decade, but I can probably figure it out again?

I don't intend to post much about politics, but I will sometimes and I know some people would prefer to be able to fandom away without any of that dropping in.

So, a poll!

As of this morning shit appears to be getting real with the primaries and political talk is bleeding into place it shouldn't. Also, usually chill people are posting absolute bullshit. (Not here, I haven't seen any of that on DW. But every other social media I looked at this morning was a mess of misleading memes.)

The truth is that most of the dem candidate's platforms are fairly similar and there are good arguments both against and also for all of them ... except Bloomberg.

So, it really comes down to who can make effective policy and other things. I like more than one candidate, but I also don't need to vote until May. By then it will be a narrower field ... or I will have fled the country in sheer frustration. I have family in Norway. Our family farm is large and in a fjord. They will never find me. I can live on strawberries.

Electability is important, but it's also a wildcard. Barack Hussein Obama used to be considered hilariously unelectable. It's important, but it's also a BS argument against any candidate at this point ... except Bloomberg.

Also, until 3 days ago I didn't look into the void that is r/politics and realize what words are coded attacks on certain candidates. I think some stuff I saw and some usernames I retweeted were references to the meme war this primary is turning into.
