I could really use a good, binge-able show right now

Guess who cancelled Netflix a few months ago? Between Goop and also it repeatedly dropping me into an ad with strobe lighting effects at the end of episodes I was very happy to protest cancel. I will swallow my pride and re-up if there is something there worth watching, but I don't think there isn't anything I want to see there that I haven't.

Feel free to give reccs on any platform, but chances are I've seen it or given it a try.



Shows I've found very binge-able: Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Neverwhere, Billions, Pose, Wild Wild Country, Timeless, Orphan Black ... Those are the ones I can think of right now.

I tried to get into Schitt's Creek. I keep hearing about it from people who usually don't like sitcoms or soaps. There is a lot of trope inversion there so I can see why some like it, but I cannot with that show.

I've tried to get into Guardian and that didn't work.

Shows like Arrested Development, Parks and Recc, The Office, etc, just don't work for me.

I watched all of Justified in under a month, which for me, is an astonishingly fast pace. I'm rewatching Deadwood right now, as well.

You might give Six Feet Under a try. Russian Doll, Glow, Deep Space Nine if you don't know that one already.

I was watching DS-9 because I love Jadzia. I fizzled out on that one. I might skip a season or try and try again.

I loved Hinterland and Bodyguard, found The Witcher oddly compelling.

I watched part of the pilot for Witcher, but the show didn't work for me. I might give it another try. I am watching the new season of Castlevania right now.

Yup, I caved and re-subbed to Netflix last night.
